A police case was registered in Prakasam district following a complaint by TDP divisional secretary Ramalingam.
According to sub-inspector Shiva Ramaiah, the case was registered under the provisions of the Information Technology (IT) Act.
“Investigation into the allegations has been initiated,” the sub-inspector said.
