On Thursday, members of Newzines called an emergency press conference and officially announced their departure from ADOR. During the press meeting, member Hanni said that his agency, ADOR, “has neither the ability nor the will to protect the group. Staying at the agency will only increase our psychological pain and waste our time.”

“We really want to be able to release new music for Rabbits as soon as next year and we really hope we get the chance to meet you guys from all over the world.”

ADOR rejects Nugenes’ contract termination
However, just hours after the hasty announcement, an official statement was released from ADOR that told a different story. According to the statement, “ADOR, as a contractual party, has not breached the terms of the agreement. A unilateral claim of breach of confidence does not constitute a valid basis for terminating the contract. The exclusive agreement between ADOR and NewJeans members remains In full effect. At the press conference, Hanni, Minji, Danielle, Herin, and Hyein also assured fans that they would not be abandoning their group name. He said, “We will not give up the Newgins name. We will continue to fight for our name. No matter what our name is, Newgins will never die.”
