We cannot sit and complain if we do not vote. It is our responsibility as citizens. According to the Election Commission of India, 32.18 percent voting was recorded till 1 pm in the single-phase assembly elections in Maharashtra.

Among all the districts in Maharashtra, Mumbai City district recorded the lowest turnout of 27.73 per cent till 1 pm, while Naxal-hit Gadchiroli district recorded the highest of 50.89 per cent.

Single phase voting for Maharashtra Assembly elections will end at 6 pm. Voting is taking place in 288 assembly constituencies. Counting of votes will take place on November 23.
