IFFI 2024: Reflecting on career, Prakash Jha says, ‘Despite awards, I have achieved nothing’ πŸŽ₯latest

Filmmaker Prakash Jha, whose short film Amar will die today Screened at the 55th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) on Sunday, she feels she has achieved nothing despite receiving several national awards and honours. The actor spoke to IANS on the sidelines of IFFI and said that he believes in working continuously as he believes that whatever is done is in the rearview mirror. The director-actor told IANS, “I haven’t really done anything, I haven’t achieved anything. To be honest, I am not being humble. Because what has been done has been done. What has to be done is most important.” And that’s how I look at life. Every day is exciting. So, I’m ready to try something new.”

He also talked about the difference between cinema and OTT and said that in every format the story reigns supreme.

He told IANS, “The gospel truth is the story, the content. He further added, “Audiences are asking us to tell them a good story, to tell them a good story. They will accept it. If we keep going on the same path, repeating the same thing in different ways, then This won’t work.” ,
