Faizan Khan’s threatening call to police regarding Shahrukh Khan’s security
On November 7, Faizan Khan had made a threatening call to Bandra Police Station. He asked whether Shahrukh Khan would give Rs 50 lakh or be killed. When the officer asked his name, Faizan replied, “My name is Hindustani,” before disconnecting the call. After this the police registered the case and started investigation. Mumbai Police took immediate action and traced the call, which led them to Raipur. Faizan Khan was identified with the help of local officials and technical intelligence. He was arrested by a Mumbai Police team on 12 November and brought for questioning. Faizan Khan was produced in the court, where he was sent to police custody till 18 November. After that he was kept in judicial custody for 14 days.
