The sequel rights were recently acquired from Shemaroo Entertainment by Sarita Ashwin Varde of Roaring River Productions, who is also working on the script of the film. The sequel took 18 years, “because a film as special as Bhagam Bhaag deserves a sequel that is equally special; when the time was right, we decided to move forward,” Saritha said in a press release.
