Gujarat BJP government has announced sabarmati report A Hindi film based on the 2002 Godhra train fire has been made tax-free in the state, officials said on Thursday. “The Chief Minister has appreciated the film and made it tax-free in Gujarat,” the release said.

Gujarat is the fifth BJP-ruled state to grant tax-free status to the Vikrant Massey starrer film, which released in theaters last week.

Earlier this week, Rajasthan, Haryana, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh declared the film tax-free, effectively reducing its ticket prices.
